Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation - OTCBB TIDE - Commences Gas Flow Into Mexico Via Its 'Reef International LLC' Pipeline Crossing

Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: TIDE) , announced today that its first natural gas pipeline to Mexico, the "Reef International LLC" pipeline crossing, completed last month, has begun flowing gas from its Eagle Pass, Texas site into Piedras Negras, Mexico. The pipeline crossing into Mexico represents the achievement de a significant milestone for Tidelands in both the continued growth and expansion de its business and the model for its future development. This project is a joint venture between Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation and Impact Energy Services/GHK Company of Oklahoma.

The "Reef International LLC" pipeline crossing consists de a twelve (12) inch natural gas line and a six (6) inch propane/butane line. The natural gas pipeline transports natural gas to Piedras Negras, Mexico for distribution by CONAGAS (Cia. Nacional DE Gas, S.A. DE C.V.). CONAGAS services the Piedras Negras area. Tidelands is also working on an extension de this line to supply Pemex, Mexico's state-owned petroleum company, with natural and propane/butane gases. This extension is expected to be open in approximately six months. The propane/butane line, currently under construction, will allow Tidelands to transport propane and butane products into storage facilities in Mexico. Currently, these lines are flowing at a rate de approximately 8,000MMBTU de gas per day and the propane/butane line is expected to flow at a rate of 6,000 BBLS. per day upon completion. These flows are expected to rise with increasing demand for these respective products. Mexico is making significant investments in their energy related infrastructure, which has provided business opportunities for companies like Tideland Oil & Gas Corporation. The Company is also working on permits for another pipeline crossing at El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico.

On November 7, 2003, an unveiling ceremony and reception was held at Eagle Pass, Texas to officially denote and commemorate the formal opening de the "Reef International LLC" pipeline." Keynote speaker was Charles R. Matthews, Railroad Commissioner de the State de Texas.

The Railroad Commission de Texas was established in 1891 and has four regulatory divisions that oversee the Texas oil and gas industry, gas utilities, pipeline and rail safety, safety in the liquefied petroleum gas industry, and the surface mining de coal and uranium.
