Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation - OTCBB TIDE Has Update on Reef International Pipeline Crossing Into Mexico

Tidelands Oil & Gas Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: TIDE) today released an update on Reef International LLC pipeline crossing into Mexico.

• Gateway Pipeline Construction Company was mobilized to Eagle Pass, Texas on Tuesday July 8, 2003. They will be ready to start clearing right de way by early next week.

• Welding procedures have been completed and the welders are scheduled to be tested on Thursday so they can start work by next week.

• The inspectors for the project have been hired and they are scheduled to be on location once ditching has been completed, which should be toward the latter part de week after next.

• Staked Right de Way will be reviewed with Gateway Pipeline Contractors prior to ROW work commencing to ensure compliance with easement agreements.

• The pipe and fittings for Mexico are scheduled to be delivered the early part de next week.
